About Us

Our Style

Our style is your style! Let’s help you translate your vision and preferences into functional and beautiful design and layouts. We all love interior design TV shows, but we don’t want to live in a cold showroom or a hotel lobby that does not look like us!

Old structures are beautiful and we always try to highlight and enhance original architectural features. Whenever possible, you can restore and salvage authentic details in your home. Additionally, we can help you score second hand and antique furniture and decor. There’s beauty and interest in old and imperfect objects and rooms!

Our Approach

We believe that whatever your budget and lifestyle, everybody deserves to live in a welcoming, pleasing and functional home. Each time you get back home, you should feel happy and thankful to live in a place that is functional and stylish. A home that is an extension and reflection of your personality and own way of life. An interior designed properly and tailor to your taste and needs should always feel good and beautiful to your eyes.

Decorating or redecorating, planning a remodeling or a furniture layout, are all a collaborative design process. Communication is key! We will help you solidify your vision and keep in constant contact until your dream home is brought to life!

About Michael

Originally from France – hence intérieur with a French “accent aigu” – Michael has been living in 8 different countries since his childhood. He has visited many more on vacation or business trips across the five continents. Since 2018, he has settled in New York City.

Those extensive travels and the rich encounters have developed his sensitivity for and love of the beauty and diversity of arts, crafts, architecture and food found around the world and across cultures.

With a successful career of over 20 years in the data science field, he decided to embrace what he has always loved:  floor plans, furniture showrooms and beautiful design. After graduating from the New York Institute of Art+Design in 2022, he embarked on his new adventure and created Michael Intérieurs. Funny enough, the process to design a statistical analysis or develop a machine learning model is quite creative and is actually pretty similar to designing an interior. There are also similarities between choosing a color scheme for graphs or data visualization and a room or a home! Moreover, his corporate experiences has helped Michael to develop organizational, communication and coaching skills that are critical to this new business endeavor!
