The short version

Quick Fix is our entry-level interior design consultation for a single room. It puts a designer’s eye on one space so you get unstuck and pointed the right way. You leave with a clear read on what to keep, what to change, and what to buy, plus a shopping direction you can act on.

It is a focused session for $500 per room, not a full design package, and there is no install.

Why a Quick Fix

The smallest step that still moves the room

A Quick Fix is built for one room and one decision: what to do next. Low commitment, fast, and it keeps you from spending on the wrong things.

Low commitment

One room, one flat fee, no long project. You get a professional read before you commit to a bigger design, and you decide where it goes from there.

Fast direction

Instead of endlessly second-guessing a room, you get a clear plan in one session. What stays, what changes, and what to buy, so you can start today.

Avoid expensive mistakes

A sofa or rug bought wrong is money and weeks gone. A shopping direction points your budget at the right pieces so you are not guessing at full price.

What you get

One room, read by a designer

A Quick Fix is focused on the decisions that actually change how a room feels and functions. Here is what a session covers.

What to keep

An honest read on the pieces already working in the room, so you keep what earns its place and stop doubting the parts that are fine as they are.

What to change

The layout, pieces, or choices holding the room back, and what to do instead. The few changes that move the room most, not a list of everything.

What to buy

The specific gaps worth filling, from a rug to lighting to a key piece of furniture, so the room reads finished rather than half-done.

A clear shopping direction

A direction for what to buy and roughly where to spend, so your own budget goes to the right things and you shop with confidence.

One room, in person or virtual

Meet in person across the Catskills, the Hudson Valley, and New York City, or go virtual from anywhere in the United States. The direction is the same.

A plan you can run

You leave able to act on your own. Quick Fix is direction and a plan, not a sourcing package or an install, and that is what keeps it $500.

How it works

Three steps to a clear direction

A Quick Fix is simple by design. Book, get the room assessed, and walk away knowing what to do next.

01

Book

Start with a discovery call, pick your room, and choose in person or virtual. One room, one flat $500 fee.

02

We assess the room

Michael reads the space against how you want to use it, and works through what is keeping it from feeling right.

03

You get clear direction

You leave with what to keep, change, and buy, plus a shopping direction you can act on yourself.

04

Upgrade if you want

Happy with the direction and want the whole thing handled? Roll straight into a Virtual or Full-Service project.

Pricing

One flat fee, one room

Quick Fix is priced per room with nothing hidden. It buys design direction, not furniture, so the pieces you buy stay your own budget and your own choice.

Furniture and decorYour budget

The $500 covers design direction for one room. Furniture is yours to buy, and a Quick Fix gives you a shopping direction so that budget lands well. See how it sits against other tiers on the pricing page.

When to upgrade

The on-ramp, not the ceiling

A Quick Fix is where many clients start. Once you see the direction on one room, moving up is easy. Choose Virtual Interior Design for a full room plan with sourcing you install yourself, or Full-Service Interior Design when you want the whole thing designed, sourced, and installed for you.

Who you work with

A designer who reads a room fast

Michael Intérieurs is led by Michael, who spent 20 years in data science before graduating from the New York Institute of Art and Design and founding the studio.

That eye is what a Quick Fix gives you on one room. A quick, honest read of what is working, what is not, and where a small budget makes the biggest difference, without the commitment of a full project.

Questions

Quick Fix, answered

What is the Quick Fix service?

Quick Fix is our entry-level interior design consultation for a single room. You get a designer’s eye on one space to get unstuck and pointed the right way: what to keep, what to change, what to buy, and a clear shopping direction. It is a consultation, not a full design deliverable, and there is no install.

What do I get for $500?

For $500 per room you get a focused session on one room and a clear direction to act on. That means an honest read of what is already working, the pieces or layout worth changing, and a shopping direction so you know what to buy and roughly where to spend. You leave with a plan you can run yourself.

Is it in person or virtual?

Either. A Quick Fix can be in person across the Catskills, the Hudson Valley, and New York City, or virtual for anywhere in the United States. Virtual works from your photos, measurements, and a call, and the direction you get is the same.

Does the price include furniture?

No. The $500 covers the design direction only. Furniture and decor are a separate budget that stays yours, and you buy the pieces yourself. What you get is a clear shopping direction so that budget goes to the right things instead of expensive guesses.

What if I need more than one room?

Quick Fix is priced at $500 per room, so a second or third room is simply another Quick Fix. If you want a full room design with sourcing and a documented plan, our Virtual Interior Design or Full-Service Interior Design tiers pick up where a Quick Fix leaves off, and many clients start with a Quick Fix and upgrade once they see the direction.

Is Quick Fix right for me?

It fits if you have one room that feels off and you want a professional read before you spend, or if you are happy to do the buying and setup yourself and just need a clear direction. If you want the whole home designed, sourced, and installed for you, a Full-Service project is the better fit.
