Living areas

In this Florida short term rental, we imagined it as a sailor or fisherman’s base who’s been travelling the seas. While at home, he would gather with his friends and family. We tried to add a lot of personality and nods to boat, fish, travel… while being family and kids friendly! we added a lot of warm and natural materials like wood, rattan, glass, velvet for a welcoming vibe. This Airbnb design definitely feels calming and nature conscious.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

As for the bedrooms, the master one was so large that you could think of a captain’s quarters on an old sail ship. The king size canopy bed with the wall lanterns and the red curtains add a dimension of wealth and drama to the bedroom. The second one is the first class cabin, as if on a vacation cruise with portholes, classy wooden bed, white and blue striped curtains and some colorful wall art inviting you to lounge and take it easy. I nicknamed the last one “under the sea” with this fish wallpaper and those shades of blues and teal and this bedroom is kids friendly with the 2 full beds.

Each bathroom is in harmony with the respective bedroom’s mood!

Outdoor

Finally, the pool area and backyard are really beautiful and they will be a strong differentiator compared to other listings. Make sure that those areas are not being left out of your Airbnb design. Here, we carried over the idea of vacationing where the guests would want to spend time and relax. As a result, there many lounging areas, a dining table and many games. Some touches of marine and fishing decor make it inviting and and at night it’s really cozy!
